    When Is Fleetwood Mac Touring?

  • Fleetwood Mac concert schedule 2023

Fleetwood Mac is an American-British rock band that was formed in 1967 and is considered to be one of the greatest rock bands of all time. Often associated with the well-known members Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie, John McVie, and Stevie Nicks, Fleetwood Mac was formed in 1967 and created such masterpieces as “Dreams”, “Go Your Own Way”, “Rhiannon” and “Landslide”. Despite forming more than half a century ago, Fleetwood Mac has not stopped touring and performing for the fans its great collection of hits. But when can fans look forward to finding tours by Fleetwood Mac in the next year?

To the best of my knowledge, Fleetwood Mac has not yet planned any tour for the year 2023. The last tour was An Evening with Fleetwood Mac and it took place from October 2018 to April 2019. It was the bands first time touring with the present line-up of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Christine McVie, Stevie Nicks and Mike Campbell after Buckingham left the band. The tour was incredibly popular, selling over 300 million in tickets and earning rave reviews from critics as well as the audience.

Thus, if there is no formal tour in 2023, when will they be back for the Fleetwood Mac reunion tour? That is, there are a few indications that the legendary rockers could start touring as early as 2023. During an interview on BBC2’s Sounds Like a Song in December 2021, McVie said that she wanted the band to tour in 2023. She suggested that she had already discussed the matter with Stevie Nicks about the band reuniting for the purpose of doing concerts. This was the first time a band member expressed the willingness of Fleetwood Mac to get back together again.

There have also been rumors that Fleetwood Mac could play at the Glastonbury Festival in 2023. These rumors have also fueled speculations on the fact that Fleetwood Mac has never played at the festival known as Glastonbury and these rumors increased speculations that the band was planning to perform live in 2013. Fleetwood Mac is a band that Glastonbury organizer Emily Eavis has expressed her desire to have perform in the 2023 edition of the festival. And when people asked Fleetwood Mac’s representatives about Glastonbury rumors, they never ruled it out either.

On the How I Found My Voice podcast in January 2023, Christine McVie expressed her desire to have the band tour in the second half of 2023. Although it did not reach the level of an official announcement, this was yet another clear indication that a reunion of Fleetwood Mac for more concerts is a very realistic possibility. McVie, however, appeared to be keen on rejoining the band and going back on the road.

Fleetwood Mac’s leader, Mick Fleetwood, has also given some indications that the band isn’t ready to stop touring yet. Specifically, in an interview in 2022, he looked back at the 2018–2019 tour and stated that he would like the band to “do it again.”. Fleetwood Mac’s drummer looks inspired to perform more concerts with the core lineup that the band is famed for.

Last but not least, Stevie Nicks also hints that she is not ready to relinquish the mic with Fleetwood Mac as well. The legendary songstress has said that she still enjoys performing with the band that has backed her to stardom. Having wrapped a solo tour in late 2022, Nicks seems eager to record new music and perform in large concert halls again with Fleetwood Mac.

Therefore, although there has been no official announcement about the 2023 tour, it is likely that Fleetwood Mac will go on tour this year. All the band members have stated their intentions of touring in the next few months. And as long as no one gets sick, it is only a matter of time before the actual tour is set.

Therefore, if this legendary band decides to host a Fleetwood Mac tour in 2023, there will undoubtedly be a lot of traffic towards the site when tickets are released. Nonetheless, the band remains incredibly popular, even to this date. With their recent tour of 2018–2019, they were able to gross more than 300 million worldwide. And how about a reunion tour in 2023? I am sure that it will be one of the most popular shows of the year. Music lovers across the world are looking forward to the respective concert schedules. But it could be in the late spring or summer before Fleetwood Mac formally announces their plans for tours in 2023.

Which venues will Fleetwood Mac perform at if they drop a tour in 2023? Details are still in the realm of speculation at this point, and it is probable that the band will visit many of the same locations that they played in 2018–2019. Their last tour consisted of some cities like Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Denver, and Los Angeles. They also performed in other UK cities, such as London, Dublin, and Berlin. Thus, fans on both sides of the Atlantic could reasonably expect Fleetwood Mac when they tour in 2023 to repeat similar major cities again.

Well, if the Fleetwood Mac live concerts’ rumors about Glastonbury Festival are true, then it is sure that there will be one of the 2023 concerts at that June music festival. Fleetwood Mac performing at Glastonbury would be a good choice for the bands to perform as the Sunday night headliners at the Pyramid Stage. Getting this booking would be a major accomplishment, especially since, for some reason, Fleetwood Mac has never performed on the Glastonbury grounds during its hit-making years.

To sum up, Fleetwood Mac has not given any official information about their intention to tour or the time when they are planning to tour in 2023. However, since the individual band members expressed optimism about reuniting, coupled with rumours that the band is in talks with Glastonbury organizers, chances are high that Fleetwood Mac will be touring again in the later half of this year. Based on the current speculation, fans can reasonably expect Mick, Christine, John, Stevie, and Mike to announce a 2023 tour by late spring or early summer. Or when Fleetwood Mac announces their plan to tour in 2023, one can only anticipate finding an immensely large level of interest in tickets to witness one of the legends of music history perform live on stage yet again.
