    When Justice Tour Concert?

  • When Justice Tour is an upcoming co-headlining concert tour by American DJ duo The Chainsmokers and Australian pop-rock band 5 Seconds of Summer. The planned tour is to start in February 2023 with performances in North America, then moving to Europe in April and concluding in Australia in June.

The tour is expected to take place in over 40 major arenas across the globe. It is the first tour the two acts have embarked on together although they have worked together before in a song “Who Do You Love” which was released in 2016. The title “When Justice” could be a nod to both artists' most recent albums; The Chainsmokers ‘So Far So Good’ was released in 2022 and 5SOS ‘Calm’ was released in 2020.

    Tour Dates and Locations

The When Justice Tour is expected to kick off on February 28th, 2023, with the first show at Greenville’s Bon Secours Wellness Arena. From there the co-headliners will play arena shows in cities such as Washington DC, Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, Denver, and more before the North American leg concludes on April 1st at The Kia Forum in Los Angeles.

The tour then moves international with the European part starting on April 15th in Prague. Some of the biggest cities like Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin, and Manchester are planned over the three weeks before the tour ends with a series of performances in Australia. The Aussie homecoming shows for 5SOS kick off on May 23 in Brisbane and then head south to Sydney, Melbourne, and other territories before drawing to a close on June 10 in Perth.

    Potential Setlists and Production

Being a co-headlining tour, fans should be able to anticipate at least an hour-plus performance by both The Chainsmokers and 5 Seconds of Summer Each band would showcase the biggest songs from their discography. When it comes to The Chainsmokers, fans are likely to be treated to popular songs such as Closer, Don’t Let Me Down, Something Just Like This, and more recent releases; High, iPad.

It is expected that 5SOS will perform songs from its 2020 album Calm, such as “Complete Mess” and “Me Myself & I” but will also include popular songs like “Youngblood”, “Amnesia”, “She Looks So Perfect”. They also can do some duet shows whether it’s “Who Do You Love” or maybe some songs that have not been released in the market yet.

When it comes to production and in the context of fans, prepare for an arena show, including video walls, dynamic lighting, and pyrotechnics based on the previous tours of both artists. When it comes to the production, such as with a tandem tour like When Justice, the levels will need to be raised to the fact of having two internationally acclaimed pop stars on the same stage. Both The Chainsmokers and 5SOS have stressed how they want to replicate the live EDM festival experience at the show so that the fans are guaranteed exciting, energetic shows every night.

    VIP Experiences and Merchandise

Similar to any large-scale music tour, When Justice will include exclusivity packages and products for loyal fans. Specificities and prices for the VIP packages are still unknown but they have offered early entry, exclusive merchandise and accessories, group photos with the bands, special relaxation areas, etc. There will be merch related to the specific tour but also general items such as hoodies and hats and collaborations.

    Why Fans Are Excited

The When Justice Tour is all set to make music lovers excited for many reasons. Just the concept of putting an EDM-pop duo like The Chainsmokers together with Aussie boyband 5 Seconds of Summer is appealing already. Those who enjoyed one of the acts could get a chance to explore the second act which they may not be a big fan of but are completely new to them.

Old-school fans are also looking forward to possible features since Alex and Drew of The Chainsmokers and 5SOS have previously collaborated. And since both acts are still releasing new music, there is a possibility that fans might witness the first performances of new songs from the year 2023.

Aside from the music itself, When Justice will be a high-energy, party-like, sweaty arena sing-along with two of some of the biggest pop acts, surprise guests, and moments that make live shows an event rather than just a concert. Thus, over 40 cities will be able to participate in the phenomenon of making When Justice a true ca n’t-miss tour.
