When Lucinda Williams Concert Tour?
Good news for Lucinda Williams fans – she is going on tour in 2023! The legendary folk-pop artist is gearing up to tour around North America and Europe for her new album, Good Souls Better Angels.
Lucinda Williams was off the road in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and she is now ready and willing to go out there and entertain her fan base. This will be Williams’ first major concert tour since her Car Wheels on a Gravel Road anniversary concert in 2018.
The new tour is planned to start on March 1, 2023, with a series of concerts in the Gulf Coast area. Williams will perform for three days in New Orleans and will then move to Houston, Austin, and Dallas. She will then perform in Denver, Salt Lake City, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles before performing for two nights in Los Angeles at the renowned Wiltern Theater.
Following her zigzag across the western half of North America, Williams will tour east in April through Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Boston, and New York City. This unproblematic diva has planned two nights at the Beacon Theatre in New York City.
In May, Lucinda Williams moves to Europe which she always visits and she is received there with a lot of enthusiasm. Her first show across the pond will be in London on May 5th. Some of the other planned dates for concerts are Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin, Rotterdam, Antwerp, Paris, Berlin, Copenhagen, Oslo, and Stockholm. It will be her first tour in Europe since 2018.
Details regarding the show setlists have not been disclosed yet, however, fans should anticipate Williams to perform songs from 2020’s Good Souls Better Angels, as well as her other albums spanning her more than three-decade music career. I believe that her fans will be expecting her to perform such songs as “Passionate Kisses,” “Drunken Angel,” “Righteously,” “Joy,” “Get Right With God,” and “Hot Blood. ”
