    When Madonna Concert Tour?

  • Madonna is one of the most legendary and remarkable singers and performers of pop music ever. Since her arrival on the pop scene in the early 1980s, she has racked up one of the greatest collections of singles ever and gone on some of the most flamboyant concert tours in the history of the world. Still, in 2015, Madonna is a prominent figure in pop culture and her concert tours are still the phenomena, people from all over the world won’t miss.

The last full concert tour that Madonna embarked on was in 2015 and 2016 when she embarked on her Rebel Heart Tour. The tour featured Madonna in more than 80 concerts across North America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania. It was incredibly successful as it generated more than 169 million USD from the over one million fans who were able to watch the show with such masterpieces as Material Girl, Like a Virgin, and La Isla Bonita The technical part of the show was one of the most elaborate and advanced that Madonna has ever used in her tours. Many people appreciated the show and its performance as well as the fact that Madonna is still capable of performing even at her age.

This has been the case after the Rebellion Heart Tour; Madonna has not been able to go for another full tour. However, she has not done any full-scale tours in the past few years but has done some one-off shows and mini-tours. For instance, in 2019, she had a couple of concerts in such venues as the Apollo Theater in New York and the Wiltern in Los Angeles. She employed these sensual performances to perform songs from her then-upcoming album, Madame X.

The Madame X tour was planned to be a longer concert tour for Madonna in promotion of the Madame X record. However, the tour was marred by accidents on stage that left Madonna injured, and she had to cancel some shows. Ultimately, the Madame X Tour had only a few dates in New York, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, London, Paris, and Lisbon between September 2019 and March 2020. Nevertheless, those who managed to get hold of tickets were privileged to witness the theater-sized Madonna experience on the tour.

So when will Madonna go out on another massive, glamorous concert tour? Hmm, as far as I know, there is no formal announcement has been made yet. Some speculation suggested she could tour this year behind her recent compilation album, Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones is a recording of the 50 number-one songs of the year 2007. But, to be clear, Madonna herself has debunked such rumors stating that she will not be touring in the year 2023.

However, Madonna is not one to take the long haul and keep off the roads for long periods. Still, fans should be able to confidently predict that even if she is not touring this year, then one can be sure that the legend will be coming up with some form of tour in support of her next studio album. During an interview in 2022, Madonna dropped subtle clues that she was already recording new materials so fans could expect her to release her 15th album soon. And where there is a new Madonna record, a tour cannot be far behind either. And: Marina Mabey, 50, of Bridge Street, Skegness, said she was disappointed because she had planned to see the singer perform in concert after buying the new record.

Of course, avid fans are aware that Madonna always goes on tour to promote her new material, performing more than 50 shows in different countries. They have turned into spectacular shows of dance, costumes, backdrop, and music where Madonna transforms herself every evening. It is expected that when she does announce her next tour, it will be as grand and spectacular as this one despite having her hip injured recently.

The previous cycles of Madonna have been about a year and a half or so and thus, it is assumed that 2024 may witness the songstress starting her next world tour. That would give her plenty of time to release a new album, tour behind it, and rehearse what will surely be a massive show scheduled for arenas and stadiums. There is no information about the possible dates for the tour and territories that will be covered by the tour. Still, one may safely bet that whenever Madonna is preparing for her next tour, several dates are planned for the major global cities including New York, London, Paris, and Los Angeles.

Of course, all stays in the realm of rumors until Madonna herself goes on the record and announces that she is going on tour. The pandemic disrupted performance plans in the past couple of years so everything is still uncertain. However, if the pandemic remains in a decreasing pattern and Madonna comes out with new music as expected, then a tour announcement should be expected around the end of 2023 or early 2024.

On that day the fans of Madonna will certainly cheer and start planning regardless of what city or hall it is in. Concert tours by Madonna are now considered significant cultural moments. When the next one is due, it will without doubt be clamoured for right from the onset to the end. Given that the band has been active for over 40 years, one can easily imagine that the potential setlists are virtually limitless. One thing is for sure though – when the Madonna tour is finally launched, there will be a stampede for tickets that only a few artists can command even at 40 years of her stellar career.
