    When Neil Young Concert Tour?

  • Rock superstar Neil Young has officially announced a concert tour for 2023.

Canadian musician and composer Neil Young has revealed details of an ambitious concert series in North America the following year. Tentatively known as “Harvest Moon” after Young’s 1992 record, the tour will see the 77-year-old playing arenas and amphitheaters across the United States and Canada.

The tour is scheduled to commence on March 1 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and conclude at the beginning of August with two shows at the famed New York venue, Madison Square Garden. However, Young has over 30 dates already confirmed but there are more in the pipeline for the next few months.

This would be the fifth concert tour headlined by Young since 2019. He had to postpone a 2020 tour because of the COVID-19 outbreak. But, Young did hit the stage with a series of intimate gigs in late 2021 in connection with his Barn record.

What are fans likely to experience during the “Harvest Moon” tour? From the recent setlists and, of course, the comments from Neil himself, it seems that this tour will feature all his work, not just the folk-rock hits. In the statement, Neil expressed that he wants to perform this tour as an opportunity to be able to “go back in time, be in the now, and look ahead. ”

Consequently, yes, one will likely hear classics such as ‘Heart of Gold,’ ‘Old Man,’ ‘After the Gold Rush,’ and ‘Harvest Moon,’ but one will also hear rusty electric songs from the Rust Never Sleeps albums and songs from Colorado and World Record albums. Some of these songs include those from Greendale, Living with War, Fork in the Road, and Le Noise since Neil has been re-interpreting noisy albums of the 2000s in his current tour.

One thing is for certain: This is something that will make any fan of Neil Young expect something different each time the artist goes on stage. His practices include changing tunes, improvising with variations while singing, and transforming earlier songs with new orchestration. There will be no two shows alike from one year to another.

The audience can be ready for a solo singing of Neil one night, and the next he might be accompanied by Crazy Horse or Promise of the Real. As of now, the man has almost six decades of music in his catalog, and that means there is no telling what he will be singing from one night to the other.

When and where can I buy Neil Young 2023 tickets and how much will it cost me?

The tickets will go on sale to the public starting from Friday, February 17th at 10 am local time. There are also a few presales happening before that:

Presale tickets are available on Tuesday, February 14th at 10 am local time to Neil Young fan club members and Citi cardholders only. Spotify and SiriusXM users will also have an exclusive presale starting February 15th.

Tickets will be priced based on the city and the theatre, but for typical reserved seating, ticket prices will range from $50 to $150 per show. There will be floor/pit tickets as well, probably starting at $150 and then going way up based on the actual show.

Some of the larger venues on Neil's tour include:

Madison Square Garden is located in New York, NY. TD Garden – Boston, MA Wells Fargo Center - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Nashville Predators: Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee United Center - Chicago, IL The Forum – Los Angeles, CA
