    When Nick Cave Concert Tour?

  • Nick Cave announced to embark on a huge 2023 tour.

Australian music legend, Nick Cave, recently unveiled his plans for a lengthy world tour in the spring of 2023. It is well-known that this tour will be associated with the last studio album Ghosteen and Bowie’s discography for over four decades. His concerts are events to which people look forward for they get to be treated to Cave’s unique dark lyrical prowess and dramatic stage performances.

The tour is set to begin in Lisbon, Portugal on the 23rd of April. Cave and his long-established supporting group, The Bad Seeds will then tour Europe in May and have performances in Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands in the pipeline. The European portion will conclude with three nights in a row at London’s Eventim Apollo on the 25th through the 27th of May.

The jaunt will be a brief one, however; by mid-June and July, Cave and Company will be setting sail across the pond. Starting their journey in Washington DC, they go through the important cities on the eastern seaboard and into the midwest region of the United States of America. Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Boston, New York City, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Nashville, Chicago, and Detroit are some of the locations where fans will witness Cave’s characteristic fervent performances.

August will see the tour making a switch back to Canada to perform in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. Almost all of the North American leg will be wrapped up in nine performances in New York City where the band is set to perform at Beacon Theatre for five shows before moving to Brooklyn Steel for four shows.

Thus, Cave and crew will be back in Europe in the fall of 2023 to hit more cities that were not covered on the first European tour. Most of the countries that are indicated to be toured by the legendary frontman include Finland, Norway, Denmark, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Italy, Spain, and Ireland. Following the European dates, Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds will perform two final concerts in November at the Sydney Opera House in Sydney, Australia, which is Cave’s hometown.

Because Cave has such a long history of recording and performing, and because his discography is so deep, setlists will certainly differ from one night to the next. Of course, die-hards will be treated to timeless tracks including “Red Right Hand,” “The Mercy Seat,” “Into My Arms,” and “Where the Wild Roses Grow” interspersed with newer and unreleased tracks. Cave is said to engage the audiences and often delivers acoustic piano-based performances of some songs which can come as a surprise to the attendees.

Since Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds always deliver a high-energy show, and the anticipation for Ghosteen is high, you can bet that tickets to these dates will go quickly. However, certain shows such as New York and Sydney may practically be sold out already, so fans are advised to purchase tickets as early as possible through Cave’s official website or from authorized sellers.

Nick Cave’s 2023 tour may offer some of the most energetic and emotional performances of the singer/artist after the past couple of years. For the more introspective tunesmith to reestablish that connection people have been missing out on, as the world continues to open up and live performances come back in full swing. Old fans and new listeners now have an opportunity to witness for themselves the magic that is a Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds live show.
