    When Nin Concert Tour?

  • Industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails reveal their North American tour dates.

Trent Reznor has recently released a list of dates for Nine Inch Nails’ North American tour, which is scheduled for September. It includes arenas and amphitheaters through November. These shows represent Nine Inch Nail's live performances after four years.

The band will be touring in support of two new releases including the upcoming ‘Bad Witch’ this year and an expanded reissue of the 1994 album ‘The Downward Spiral’ which will have improved sound quality and bonus tracks.

It seems the upcoming concerts are going to be highly charged which will be appreciated by fans. Nine Inch Nails are infamous for their brash, aggressive performances, with intricate elements such as impressive stage light shows, and visually disturbing videos. Art direction has been handled by Rob Sheridan for a long time now and he will be involved again in the production’s visual design.

Fans club and the Spotify pre-sale start on Tuesday, May 15th. Tickets are available for purchase from Friday, May 18th for the public from the band’s official website. Ticket prices are as low as $25 and as high as $150 depending on the city and the venue.

Here is a complete list of currently announced Nine Inch Nails tour dates and locations:

This North American leg follows a recently concluded tour across 21 cities in Europe. Trent Reznor said in an interview with a Swedish newspaper that the band will be recording for about six months before going on a short Australian/New Zealand/Asian tour. Details regarding tours of such regions should emerge over the following months.

Nine Inch Nails is an industrial rock band led by singer and multi-instrumentalist Trent Reznor, that was formed back in 1988. Their album released in 1994 titled ‘The Downward Spiral’ had sales of more than 4 million copies within the United States only and the hit track “Closer”. "

After releasing the albums, Reznor put together an entirely new Nine Inch Nails band roster in 2016 with Atticus Ross as the keyboardist Johnathan, bassist Alessandro Cortini, keyboardist Ilan Rubin, and drummer Robin Finck. This new version of Nine Inch Nails released the ‘Add Violence’ and ‘Bad Witch’ EPs.

The latter project was marked by the band Swans’ input and the first attempts at incorporating elements of jazz music. There has been some suggestion that Reznor will push the sound further on the next full Nine Inch Nails album, though there is not yet information on when it will be issued.

Thus, the official announcement of the tenth Nine Inch Nails studio album has not yet been made; however, fans can look forward to listening to new, unpublished songs at these concerts.

The band is expected to perform some of the classics such as ‘Head Like a Hole’, ‘Hurt’, ‘Wish’, and ‘March of the Pigs’ as well as songs from their newer EPs. The shows may contain more material from ‘The Downward Spiral’ since the album was being reissued at the time.

Expectantly to the visionary show, fans get the usual NIN contrasting colors, dizzying strobes, and flashing lights in tandem with live performances of some aggressive and melancholic songs.

The upcoming series of North American shows will be equally anticipated because of their scarcity and the loyal fans that Reznor and co. have amassed over the years with aggressive tours and honest, emotionally charged music.

Nine Inch Nails has been consistently creating innovative music and using new technologies throughout their whole career, which makes it interesting to watch as a live band even if the fan is not extremely devoted. They also contributed to the evolution of ear-shaking arena rock concerts and trials with concert-specific multimedia.

Trent Reznor has already demonstrated his outstanding talent in multiple lines of work – he was a music star, and then he became an Oscar winner working as a film composer together with Atticus Ross. His Nine Inch Nails band project is back on the stage this fall, the musical project colliding with performance art and famous tracks that should leave any critical figure dumbfounded.
