    When The Eagles Concert Tour?

  • The Eagles are going back on tour in 2023

The Eagles are a rock band that originated from Los Angeles, California in the United States of America in the year 1971. Featuring Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, and Deacon Frey (Glenn Frey’s son), the Eagles are often considered one of the most successful bands in the history of music. Combined, they have sold more than 200 million copies of their albums and hold six Grammy Awards. Their album ‘Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975’ currently stands at a record high for American sales.

Some of the most popular hit songs of The Eagles include ‘Hotel California,’ ‘Take it Easy,’ ‘Peaceful, Easy Feeling,’ ‘Lyin’ Eyes,’ ‘Life in the Fast Lane,’ ‘One of These Nights,’ ‘Take it to the Limit,’ ‘New Kid in Town,’ ‘Heartache Tonight,’ ‘The Long Run,’ and more. Despite their formation in 1971, The Eagles came up with music in country rock style Their skills in creating songs as well as in singing and playing musical instruments earned them commendation from critics and fans.

The band split in 1980 and the members of the Eagles did not perform collectively for another 14 years. Their stormy relationship is well depicted in the 1994 documentary film known as The History of the Eagles. Time, however, smoothed over old differences, and in 1994 The Eagles began their tour again. Since then they have toured on and off, and every time they take the stage they are welcomed by thousands of people who have been listening to them since day one and newcomers who are just being introduced to their music.

Eagles co-founder Glenn Frey died in January of 2016 at the age of 67. However, sometime later after having performed a few concerts in the wake of the tragedy, The Eagles realized they could not afford to disband and they continued with the band, hiring Deacon Frey, Glenn’s son to play the guitars and sing. Joe Walsh said that The Eagles was a band of brothers and Glenn’s musical legacy and spirit continues in Deacon when performs on stage.

While the “Hotel California” 2022 trek is set to come to a close in the next few months, The Eagles have revealed that they will be back on the road with a fresh North American tour scheduled for next year, 2023. They will be launching their tour in 2023 with the first show scheduled to be on February 19 in Savannah, Georgia. They will perform two consecutive shows at Madison Square Garden on the 1st of March and 2nd of March. Other cities in the Eagles 2023 tour include Raleigh, Charlotte, Orlando, Ft Lauderdale, Tampa, Houston, Dallas, Austin, Kansas City, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Montreal, and Toronto. The exhaustive tour will continue up to April 15 after which the last show is planned to be held in San Francisco.

More shows in the US and other parts of the world may be planned and scheduled again for the coming months up to the next year. Because The Eagles are still very popular these days and people are always eager to watch them perform live on stage, it would not be unimaginable for the band to add a few more dates to their calendar. Despite having emerged as one of the premiere rock bands in the world, The Eagles has continued to record record high turnouts of fans every time they go on stage for their concerts even when they released their first album almost 50 years ago.

The Eagle's concerts have been receiving a lot of praise over the years due to their great voices and excellent instrumental performance. Their shows are a perfect blend of major hits and not-so-popular B sides which many a time the casual music listener might not be abreast with. Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit also get their moment in the limelight singing songs they have a history with such as ‘In the City’ and ‘I Can’t Tell You Why. ’ Deacon Frey often gets a warm reception when he steps in to sing parts originally performed by his father on classics like ‘Peaceful Easy Feeling’ and ‘Tequila Sunrise. ’

Of course, the show stopper was ‘Hotel California’, perhaps the most loved by most Eagles fans but the original hit six-and-a-half-minute track is even more majestic live. The audience will sing along to the lyrics together with the band right up to the end of the guitar solos and the final two choruses. It has become the epitome of rock music and a song by The Eagles which they will always be associated with in popular culture. Sometimes they make slight variations to the recorded arrangement when playing live, such as lengthening some of the instrumental and ‘no lyrics’ parts of the song or swapping between Don Henley and Glenn Frey, who sang the verses on the album. And concertgoers always seem to love the extra long guitar solo that Joe Walsh likes to include on ‘Hotel California’ when performing it live.

At The Eagles concerts, the bands usually perform between 20 to 25 songs in total. Among the deeper cut and solo hits the band cycles into their current touring lineup are ‘Seven Bridges Road,’ ‘Ol’ 55,’ ‘In the City,’ ‘The Best of My Love,’ ‘Get Over It,’ ‘Walk Away,’ and ‘Life’s Been Good’ most of which fans wouldn’t necessarily anticipate to be performed during an Eagles concert hence the surprise and entertainment value. Their concerts go on to gather rave reviews from the critics as well and these state that it is amazing to see that night after night the band gives out impressive vocals and performances after all these years.

Well, if you did not get a chance to purchase tickets the last time The Eagles were on tour, you should not let that stop you from looking forward to their new 2023 concert. Don Henley, one of the band’s original members, is currently 75 years old and Joe Walsh, another member, is 74 years old as well. It is still impossible to say how long The Eagles may continue their intensive touring as a band. Their just-launched string of 2023 tour dates scheduled for next year across North America may well be one of your last chances ever to see The Eagles live in action. This is one of the earliest American rock bands, and they have remained relevant to this date, and continue to perform music they started years ago. 2023 will be another defining year where The Eagles perform memorable concerts carrying on the legacy that boasts generations of hit records.
