Who Is On Tour With Coldplay?

  • Coldplay's Music of the Spheres World Tour: The supporting acts Here, the performing artist was the supporting act, which means that the independent variable was the performing artist.

Coldplay Tickets started with their Music of the Spheres World Tour in March 2022 to support their 2021 studio album, Music of the Spheres. It was arranged that the tour should extend up to July next year and will cover many cities in North America, Europe, and Asia. Coldplay is currently one of the most successful bands in the entire world, and they have been so for more than twenty years, so it goes without saying that the band always invites stellar support acts that fit the grandeur of stadium rock perfectly. For their last world tour, they have selected a group of opening acts that is diverse yet harmonized in certain ways.

    H. E. R.

Coldplay's official Instagram account has announced that H. E. R., an American R&B/soul singer-songwriter, is one of the opening acts that will be performing alongside Coldplay on different tour dates in 2022. This lovely young lady is not only a singer but also plays the guitar, and her smooth voice and well-chosen songs create the right atmosphere before Coldplay. H.E.R. has been a Grammy award-winning artist whose song I Can't Breathe, which was co-written based on the murder of George Floyd by the police, won the award for Song of the Year in 2021. Other songs from H.E.R., like Damager and Come Through, featuring Chris Brown, will ensure that the energy level is upped.

    London Grammar

Yet another support for Coldplay in some of the dates across Europe are the British indie pop trio: London Grammar. London Grammar is an amazing live band, characterized by the lead singer Hannah Reid's stunning melodies and deep voice, accompanied by powerful synth and electronic beats. Some of their popular songs include Wasting My Young Year and Strong, which best describe their melody of darkness with a hint of light at the end of the tunnel. It is a great experience to have an opportunity to listen to powerful voice of Hannah Reid before the band opens for Coldplay. The band is yet to drop their third album, which is called Californian Soil, and it is expected to be released in April 2022, so one might be lucky to listen to new songs from the group too.

    Charlie Brown

Charlie Brown, an up-and-coming indie singer-songwriter, is set to warm up audiences when Coldplay performs concerts in Australia and New Zealand at the end of 2022. Brown was initially brought to fame through the videos of song covers on YouTube before he was a teenager. He is now 20 years old, and he has come up with his own sincere and sublime pop/rock. Firmly embedded in the pop rock genre, singles dependency and lost too many times demonstrate his fresh voice and lyrics dealing with love and maturing. Although at the moment he has not released many songs, only several with original compositions, one can definitely look forward to hearing more from Charlie Brown. It has a bedroom pop feel, somewhat similar to the likes of Lauv or Jeremy Zucker, but with a cinematic tinge. The fans in Australia are going to be treated to Charlie's moving love songs before settling into Coldplay's arena rock.

    Camila Cabello

Public pop vixen Camila Cabello, who landed a Grammy nomination for best pop solo performance last year, opened a few shows for Coldplay on their early-2022 tour of North America. She was a member of the girl group Fifth Harmony and quickly became an international pop star after the band's hiatus as a solo recording artist with popular songs such as Havana, Señoritaand Bam Bam that feature Ed Sheeran. Cabello performs with her suave singing style, pop Latin tunes, and lively dancing, which helps in energizing the fans before the Coldplay performance. Since Martin performed with Cabello on the song Let Somebody Go," released in 2021, their fans expect a live performance from these two artists. I found that witnessing Cabello's recorded performances, a backdrop to her verbally fluent movements, against Coldplay's energetic live band set-up was a thrilling proposition.

    We Are King

We Are King, an electro-soul band, has recently supported Coldplay in two performances in Los Angeles in April this year. Paris and Amber Strother and Anita Bias make up the trio group, investing their soulful, harmonious R&B music. Songs such as Supernatural and The Greatest have set We Are King in a spacey, lush sound that has garnered critical appreciation. Their voice harmonies and new age soul music fit for it's laid-back groove before transitioning to Coldplay's atmospheric rock collection. Taking into account the fact that We Are King accompanied artists such as Janet Jackson and Florence + the Machine, the band is ideal for occupying the Coldplay stadium.

Thus, when Coldplay's Music of the Spheres World Tour continues across hundreds and hundreds of cities, fans of the band will be able to witness H.E.R., London Grammar, Charlie Brown, or other supporting artists. This line-up of Coldplay's greatest hits, old and new, accompanied by this collection of rising and already famous musicians, will guarantee an absolutely epic concert tour through out the middle of 2023. No wonder Chris Martin and company have crafted not only a stage for Coldplay to grow and evolve for the past two decades but also a stage to introduce other pop, rock, and R&B artists as well.
