Who Is On Tour With Weezer?

  • Weezer has set their 2022 concert tour, including special guest performers.

The American rock band Weezer Tickets has revealed a 39-date tour through North America early next year with a number of special guests lined up to perform at some of these venues. The Million Dollar Arm concert tour starts in Seattle on August 8 and ends in October, with venues in New York, Chicago, Toronto, and Los Angeles, among others.

The bands that are with Weezer include other talented artists that many people know and will be glad to see during the event. The main supporting bands are Spoon, The Interrupters, and Jane's Addiction, the band that coined the glam metal term in the 90s. Some more new artists will also be performing on selected shows too. This diverse and talented lineup is sure to delight everyone when touring, and dancing will be a true pleasure.

Spoon is considered one of the most important indie rock bands of the past 25 years, with hits such as The Way We Get By and The Underdog Spoon is one of those bands that called for intelligence in a song, spaced-out melodies and mind-blowing musicianship. Spoon, already established as a headliner, will surely make the nights proceed with fervor as they open for Weezer on tour.

Interrupters have been establishing themselves as a great live band with punk-ska sound reminiscent of Rancid or early Operation Ivy. This new-age punk quartet is fronted by the energetic Aimee Interrupter with hits such as Family, By My Side," and Bad Guy. This year should be an exciting one for them and their set will definitely be one big fiesta.

However, one might expect alt metal legend Jane's Addiction on this list, and this inclusion can be viewed as quite captivating. As a number of hits, melodic hard rock and intensive tastes joined since the late 1980s. Thanks to Perry Farrell, this band still sounds recognizable today; Been Caught Stealing and Mountain Song won't fail to add some punkish energy to the program. I am looking forward to seeing Jane's addiction get involved with other acts, particularly younger acts.

These three excellent main openers are only the tip of the iceberg, not to mention additional support acts at some dates make this show a must-see. The Beths is an indie pop band from New Zealand with captivating vocal harmonies and cheerful lyrics; they will perform at several concerts. The band's synth-pop album, Future Me Hates Me, received many positive reviews, and Expert In A Dying Field, their most recent song, shows their progress.

Florida-based pop rock singer-songwriter Tessa Violet, who has express and universally appealing lyricism similar to Avril Lavigne, will also open select dates. It is exciting to note that songs such as Crush and Bad Ideas resonate very well with the Gen Z generation. When Violet starts singing, her young fans will be there to support her by singing the songs too.

And finally, the indie rock band from Connecticut, Beach Bunny, will crank up the stage for a couple of gigs as well. The dream pop guitars and sweet anthemic vocals rejuvenate the pop punk genre, and their hit Cloud 9 and Promises took off on TikTok and everyon's favorite, the popular music playlist. However, Beach Bunny is a group that one should definitely look out for in the alternative scene.

This is one hell of a diverse support for Weezer's 2022 tour, which is definitely going to be packed out. As for special guests, having both the undeniable legends such as Spoon and Jane's Addiction for opening acts and the contemporary talents including The Interrupters and Tessa Violet, the line-up is truly incredible. Considering Weezer's lively performances and varied discography, which includes alt rock favorites from the 90s, 2000s, and 2010s, these concerts are ones not to be missed by any fan of guitar-based rock music.

This is one of the most colourful tours that must be expected this year. The extensive lists of songs to be played and the diverse sides of the performers will bring out the best of Weezer and show people, young or old, why this band is still adored by most their age. Indeed, the visitors will be in for an amazing treat at each of the tour stops. Regardless of the city you are in, don't miss Weezer's concert and get the nearest date to you. You should prepare for an epic experience with catchy tunes, dancing, dancing headbangs, and awesome sounds that will be hard to forget.
