When Kanye West Concert Tour Dates?

Enya is an Irish singer, songwriter, and musician with a classic atmospheric style that incorporates Celtic, classical, church music, and folk elements. After her debut in the late 1980s with her successful hit tune “Orinoco Flow” and her Watermark album, Enya has grown to become one of the most successful selling artists. Over the course of her long career spanning four decades, she has toured many times and enchanted the world with splendid live performances.

Enya’s first two albums were mostly recorded for the studio, and it was only in 1991 that she first went on tour for the first time to promote Shepherd Moons. Until then, Enya had participated in only a handful of live concerts as well as television performances. Nevertheless, Shepherd Moons was followed by the unprecedented success of the singles ‘Caribbean Blue’ and ‘Book of Days’ that helped Enya gain the confidence she needed to perform more concerts and tours. Her 1991-1992 World Tour in support of the album was her first major international tour, which included locations in Europe, North America, and Japan. The shows were a success, allowing audiences to embrace Enya’s otherworldly music.

It was seven more years before Enya would tour again in support of the multi-platinum selling 1997 Paint the Sky with Stars: The Best of Enya. It consisted of two new compositions, “Paint the Sky with Stars” and “Only If…”. The Paint the Sky with Stars Tour was held in 1998 and covered Europe and North America, where the group held performances in cities such as London, Paris, Amsterdam, Los Angeles, and New York. For this performance Enya was accompanied by a small choir and a string section which added to the ambience of the live performance.

Following the album A Day Without Rain in 2000, which has the Grammy award-winning single “Only Time,” Enya went on the A Day Without Rain Tour from 2001-2002. It was a global record, it was released in North America, Europe and Asia in 16 months. The Asian leg featured performances in China, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand. The set list also included some new songs from the album as well as Enya’s biggest hits including “Book of Days”, “Anywhere Is,” and “Orinoco Flow”. The concerts featured an awesome light shows and magnificent visuals to enhance the acclaim of the singers.

The next album from Enya was the platinum selling album Amarantine which was released in 2005. For this release, Enya won her fourth consecutive Grammy for the Best New Age Album. The following year in 2006, there was the Amarantine Tour that saw her perform all over Europe, North America and Japan within six months to market the release. Some of the songs performed were the first single from the album released in Japan, “Amarantine,” and songs like “Watermark,” and “Caribbean Blue. ” The New York Times applauded the show with phrases like “mysterious, new age-style transcendence. ”

This was not until 2015 where Enya began her most current tour of Dark Sky Island which was named after her album of the same name. This was the first album that she released in seven years and also her first tour in the past nine years. The European and North American tour had Enya perform songs from the new album such as “Echoes in Rain” and “So I Could Find My Way” in her usual mystic manner. The legendary Irish singer, who celebrates her 65th birthday, once again demonstrated that her voice extends far beyond millions of people.

When will Enya perform live again? It has been over seven years since she last performed, however, the fans who have been with her since the start should not be disappointed. The eccentric pop star is well known for long stints between albums and concerts. To date, Enya has sold more than 75 million records worldwide, numerous singles, and albums such as Watermark, Shepherd Moons, The Memory of Trees, A Day Without Rain, and Amarantine that fill concert halls with fans – and she still has no shortage of beautiful, evocative songs to perform live in the future. By considering the previous record of Enya’s world tour where she has been touring every seven to nine years, one can assume that she might announce another world tour somewhere around 2024 or 2025. Whenever the next Enya tour takes place, there is no doubt that her unique otherworldly voice will again enthrall one hall after another in a concert that can only be described as for the ages. Her concerts are not to be missed and hence when that next tour comes, ensure one books for it early enough since most of them tend to go like a bat out of hell in anticipation of the legendary Enya singing on stage.
