Starting in New York City in 1973, Kiss is clearly among the most famous and successful rock bands of all time. Renowned for their costumes and live performances, Kiss has one of the most devoted fan groups in music history: the Kiss Army Still traveling after over fifty years, the band delivers passionate and exciting performances to its audience.
After the "The Tour" co-headliner trip with Motley Crue in 2014, Kiss abstained from demanding travel in the next year. Still, 2016 marks the start of another rigorous tour for the band. Beginning their "Freedom to Rock" tour in American and European cities in the summer of 2016, other sites seen on this trip were Oregon, Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New York. Along with the Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium, Kiss also visited numerous big European rock events like Hellfest in France.
Following the 2016 tour, Kiss announced that they would be returning once again for further performances in 2017 under what they referred to as the "Kiss World" tour. Among the towns seen are Pittsburgh, Toronto, Montreal, Buffalo, New Orleans, Dallas, Boise, Vancouver, etc. Not sparing with the songs, the band made sure to perform all the oldies, including "Detroit Rock City, "Love Gun," "Shout It Loud," and what might be regarded as the official hymn for every rock and roll party, "Rock and Roll All Nite." During concerts, Simmons and Stanley also become more chatty, amusing the crowd with KISS-related stories.
After 45 years of consistently delivering rock and roll to fans night after night, day after day, Kiss announced what would be their final tour, ever at the beginning of 2018. The End of the Road World Tour started with various events in North America as the name suggests before the group made their summer trip to Europe. Among the other cities visited were Manchester, Birmingham, London, Dublin, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Helsinki, Stockholm, Oslo, Prague, and many more.
For Kiss, 2020 was supposed to be yet another hectic year for live events. Like every other band, however, they had to postpone their concerts when the COVID-19 epidemic swept throughout the globe. Rescheduling of the 2021 tour dates caused several artists to postpone them a second time depending on the situation.
But in 2022 the "End of the Road" tour returned in full force. Kiss traveled to Europe over the summer and then to North America in the autumn after warm-up events with the rescheduling dates. Visited cities were Madrid, Paris, Hamburg, Milan, Warsaw, Prague, Nashville, Raleigh, Hartford, Buffalo, Saskatoon, and many more. November 2022 presented the band with chances to finish their final Australian performances as well.
As part of their "End of the Road" tour—which is essentially a farewell tour for the band—Kiss is scheduled to play sixteen more performances at present. This April and May, the audience may watch the hotter-than-hell four-some rock and rolling all night into the early morning hours. After fifty incredible years of head-banging, pyrotechnics, and ear-splitting music, the last four performances will take place in Kiss's hometown, New York City, to go out in style.
