When Phillip Phillips Concert Tour?

Phillip Phillips, an American singer and songwriter, is a winner of the eleventh season of American Idol show which was aired in the year 2012 and has made America his home after winning the show, he has been touring for the past 10 years across the United States and different parts of the world. The most recent tour began in early 2022 for his new album Continuum which initially debuted in June of 2022.

The Continuum Tour was launched in January of 2022 with some dates in the East Coast and Midwest area of the United States. Phillips also did multi-night stands in large population centers such as Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington, Detroit, Chicago, and Nashville. He then moved west, performing in Dallas, Denver, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Portland, and Seattle.

Following the final show in the US in March, Phillips of course moved the Continuum Tour to Europe in April. He took shows in the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and many more. Some of the most notable concerts that were performed were in London, Manchester, Dublin, Paris, Berlin, Milan, and Madrid. Comments from the European tour were positive, as the high-energy show, and the reception that Phillips got from the audience.

Again in May, Phillips embarked on a tour in North America with most of his performances across the United States with an emphasis on the southern and mid-western regions. The second North American leg had major stops with concerts in New Orleans, Houston, Austin, Tulsa, Memphis, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Pittsburgh. Like in the previous legs, Phillips performed not only the songs from Continuum but also some of his hits starting from his debut album Behind the Light released in 2012.

After completing the US Midwest/South tour leg in June, Phillips did not perform in July and then embarked on the third North American tour in August and September. This last stage was more related to the western half of the United States and Canada. Phillips performed on consecutive days in these locations include; Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, St. Paul, Milwaukee, Toronto, Montreal, and Halifax. More overnight halts were also taken in other locations in the Western part of the United States.

Comments from his 2022 Continuum Tour have commended him for his lively performance, Hicks also witnesses that Phillips plays both acoustic and electric guitar proficiently. Responses from fans continue also to be overwhelmingly positive with passion from fans praising him for his zeal in performances, his stage presence, and his humility in interacting with the fans.

By the middle of October when he will finish with the Continuum Tour, Phillips will have performed more than a hundred times across hundreds of cities in America, Canada, and Europe. The challenging tour was his most extensive solo effort since he began touring for his shows in 2013 following his American Idol triumph.

For the fans who were unable to see Phillips perform in 2022, there is hope that more touring may be in prospect in 2023. PHILLIPS, in interviews, said that he is interested in further tours in the US next year if there continues to be a demand for not only his new Continuum album but also the live performances. He could perform at even more festivals and other small markets in 2023 instead of another big tent rolling across the country like in 2022.

The Continuum album and the related tour have given Phillips the commercial and critical success he needed and should guarantee further new music and concerts in the years to come after the ongoing tour is over and Phillips takes the time to rest as every artist should. For now, fans can revisit the Continuum Tour by listening to the audio and video recordings of the live performances on the internet or by purchasing the merchandise through the website of Phillips. Auto demand should stay strong for one of America’s most popular and talented singers from American Idol to continue touring.
