Russ is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer from New Jersey instead. Starting with do-it-yourself music, he gained popularity in 2016 and has since developed an independent following. Russ is most well-known for his explicit songs and energetic performances, even if he is gifted in rapping and singing.
The COVID-19 epidemic caused Russ to pause his travels in 2020; nevertheless, he said early in 2021 he would be returning. Beginning in April 2021, his The Journey is Everything tour ran seven months during which he visited Canada and the United States.
The tour started on April 19, 2013 in Houston, Texas. Russ then visited Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin among several large Texas urban areas. He kept doing gigs all across the southern United States after Texas, including New Orleans, Atlanta, Nashville, and Charlotte.

The West Coast shows of the tour were in San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, Anaheim, and Phoenix. Russ played at big venues such as the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and the Fillmore in San Francisco.
When the tour was over in the United States, Russ continued with the The Journey is Everything tour in July in Canada. He targeted large cities such as Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. As you can see in Table 1, Russ was on the road by the end of July and performed well over forty shows in North America.
On August 13, Russ announced the second part of his tour since he received so much support from his fans. The second leg started on the 1st of October in Washington DC. It contained some extra shows in the eastern half of the United States and in Canada.
Some of the significant venues to hold the second leg include the Performing Arts Center in Newark, NJ. He also resumed his performance at Madison Square Garden on November 18th for what was the largest New York production to date.
The tour finally came to an end on December 17, the final concert was in Russ’s hometown of New Jersey. He played the Prudential Center in front of a home crowd and many family members as well.

Looking at the tweets made by Russ, it was evident that he often performed with a lot of energy. As for the fans, they had very positive reactions as well. These shows were quite valuable and Russ was singing with a live band during the production. He performed his repertoire of all his songs alongside incorporating the occasional cover songs from other artists.
There were also certain special guests during the tour. The singer and rapper also invited guest artist Kehlani to perform on the track that they made together, “Take You Back”, during his show in LA. He also performed with Ab-Soul during the Oakland show.
In conclusion, Russ’s 2021 The Journey is Everything tour was a success. It was a great chance for him to reach out to the fans again after being over a year off the road due to coronavirus.
Russ has not formally shared any tour dates for 2022 up to this date. Still, he releases new music and it is likely that fans may be able to see him tour again in the second half of this year in support of another album project.
