When Taylor Swift Concert Eras Tour?

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour has been one of the most anticipated concert tours of the years. The Eras Tour seems to have attracted more attention than usual because Swift is one of the most popular artists of all time. Still, this tour is meant to have been a review of her career to date, and each of the shows is divided into chapters corresponding to the ‘eras’ Swift went through in more than 15 years of her career. But when can Swifties see this grand tour for themselves?

Swift first teased the Eras Tour back in early November 2022, and fans were surprised that she unveiled a list of United States stadium shows for 2023. During that period, no international dates were set. The trek is planned for starting from the 18th of March, 2023, with two performances at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. She will then perform two more shows in Las Vegas on March 25 & 26 then two shows in Arlington, Texas on April 1 & 2.

With touring starting April and May, visiting stadiums in Tampa, Atlanta, Philadelphia, Chicago, and East Rutherford, New Jersey, Swift has scheduled a three-show stand at Los Angeles’ SoFi Stadium in the Memorial Day weekend from May 26th to 28th. She will perform on the West Coast itself up to early June and has shows booked at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, and Lumen Field in Seattle. Following that, they tour several more Midwestern and eastern cities, including Detroit, Pittsburgh, Nashville, and Foxborough up until mid-July.

Swift’s tour is now planned to end in the United States at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on the 29th and 30th of July. In total, she has 20 United States stadium shows listed on her official website at the time of writing this paper. To date, there remains no information regarding the international Eras Tour dates but people are expecting that she will bring the show to international venues after the US leg of the tour.

When Swift first unveiled the tour, Ticketmaster stated that the Eras Tour would incorporate stadiums that Swift has not performed in for more than a decade. As promised, some venues that Swift is coming back to for this tour, she has not performed in since her Speak Now Tour in 2011, such as Ford Field, Detroit; Acrisure Stadium, Pittsburgh; Nissan Stadium, Nashville; and Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia.

Of course, no Taylor Swift tour announcement would be complete without quite the bit of drama surrounding how fans will get their hands on tickets. She stressed Ticketmaster to its limits during the presales for the Eras Tour, leading to site crashes and hour-long virtual queues among her millions of fans. In response to the debacle, US lawmakers declared an antitrust investigation into Live Nation Entertainment and its subsidiary Ticketmaster in November 2022.

The ticket sale drama even became a concern for the White House, with the Biden administration stating that they believe consumers deserve better when trying to purchase concert tickets. Several state attorneys general, including those of North Carolina, Nevada, and Tennessee, also opened investigations into Live Nation’s conduct in the aftermath of the Swift on-sale debacle.

Despite this, Ticketmaster has kept explaining that the overwhelming number of people who wanted to buy tickets to Swift’s shows, in the millions, caused the problem. They have also expressed their intent to endeavor towards upgrading their systems to address the demand from the fans at that level in the future.

Of course, none of the ticket sale drama has lowered any expectations for the Eras Tour itself. If anything, it has only contributed to the hype and solidified it as the hottest concert event in 2023. Instead, Swift herself has maintained her sights set firmly on making an explosive stadium show and a setlist that encompasses her entire career so far.

After the Ticketmaster crisis, the singer said in a post on Instagram that she is very careful with the fans, and she is looking for ways to give them a chance to get tickets in a safe manner.

When is it then that Taylor Swift fans will be able to see the much-anticipated Eras Tour commence? The date for the opening night is still in the future and it is only a few months from now, to be specific the 18th of March 2023. You can also anticipate extremely high anticipation and demand around each stop of Swift’s stadium tour starting up through the middle of July 2023. This is easily one of the largest musical spectacles in recent memory, and fans are excited to see Taylor’s musical evolution year by year.
