2Cellos To Launch Their Global Concert 2023 Tour
The Croatian cello musicians, 2Cellos have slated a long global tour in the following year, 2023. As electricity and energy performers, Luka Sulic and Hauser are going to entertain audiences in North America, Europe, and Asia with a mix of both classical and contemporary music.
With events scheduled throughout the United States and Canada, his trip is anticipated to start in March 2023. Such visits include the United Center in Chicago, the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, and Radio City Music Hall in New York. Early April will see the American component of the trip play at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
2Cellos will thereafter be present in European summer celebrations. Notable events include concerts at the Isle of Wight Festival in the UK, Mad Cool in Spain, and Rock Werchter in Belgium. Before the trip ends at the end of August, other events around Europe will follow and include towns in Germany, Poland, Hungary, Italy, and many more.
Starting in September and running through October are the Asian showcases. Just the dates of the Tokyo and Seoul performances are known right now; other dates will probably be announced not too far off. Since 2016, 2Cellos will be doing their first Asian performance.
From the moment their "Michael Jackson's Thriller" went viral in 2011, 2Cellos has been captivating worldwide listeners with their energetic live performances and creative music. The team now has millions of followers worldwide and has released four studio albums. The cellist performing joyful guitar work and drumming gives amazing and exciting performances that define their musical character.
Since their formation more than a decade ago, 2Cellos has worked with other musicians such as Elton John, Lang Lang, Steve Vai, and others. They are known for performing both in small venues and in large arenas, in church, at the Vatican, and at the United Nations General Assembly. One of their most popular videos, the AC/DC Thunderstruck was featured in the Mercedes Benz advertisement for the C-Class 2012 model.
As conservatory-trained cellists, 2Cellos translate the cello’s underlying function in orchestras and chamber ensembles into lead voices of rock excess. They are young, enthusiastic, and incredibly skilled, their performances are closer to a rock-n-roll show than a sophisticated concert. Audiences can look forward to a light show with some stroboscopic effects, interlocking solos, and even instrument exchange as the two men play across the different styles with nonchalance.
There is no doubt that the 2023 tour will feature new and unique interpretations of 2Cellos’ diverse repertoire. Besides the songs that are expected by the fans, the setlist may contain songs that have been composed recently by the two artists. An EP is said to be coming next year as a tease for the actual album that may be released in the next year or so.
Tickets for the first part of the North American tour dates will be available starting October 7. Due to the high popularity of 2Cellos, shows are anticipated to go on sale and draw crowds faster. As much as possible, fans should buy tickets or sign up for the presale as soon as possible to ensure they can get a seat at their preferred concert.
