When Big Time Rush Concert Tour?

Big Time Rush was one of the leading boy bands in the early 2010s and was known for appealing to the younger audience with charming personalities, catchy tunes, and a Nickelodeon sitcom. Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos PenaVega, and Logan Henderson formed this band in 2009 and recorded success before disbanding in 2014. But in the recent past, there have been increasing rumors and anticipation that Big Time Rush could perform a reunion tour.

Since their formation, Big Time Rush has been an active touring band, performing throughout their five-year existence and having four major headlining tours in North America. Their first tour in 2010 saw fans rushing to book for a date that was sold within the shortest time possible and was able to play for more people. This was their last tour and it took place in 2013 and 2014, covering Europe and South America also. The concerts involved countless audience members who actively sang and danced to such songs as Boyfriend, Windows Down, and Worldwide. The four members also performed very actively, moving around the stage and engaging with the audience. In light of past tours, any Big Time Rush reunion concert is bound to attract a large audience that is eager to reminisce about their childhood.

Since their break-up, the guys have been asked many a time, whether they were planning on getting back together. Although they have all engaged in side personal projects such as acting, going solo in music, and having children, a reunion of Big Time Rush has not been entirely off the table. The pop-rock group still has a very dedicated fan base that has continued playing their music, watching old BTR episodes, and keeping the band’s memory alive in hopes of seeing them perform again one day. Indeed, in recent discussions, members have suggested that they are not averse to the possibility of working on a project in the future.

The last four members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan that have attracted the fans’ attention are Kendall, James, Carlos, and Logan who caused quite a stir in early 2022 when several photos and videos appeared online portraying Kendall and his male friends with their families at his house. This was the first time the four were seen together in public for years. They hummed and sang lines from the songs by Big Time Rush while together and this made fans start speculating that they were ready for a comeback. Other reunions have since occurred implying that the band is reassembling and might have plans in place after disintegrating for several years.

Some of the 2022 interviews have featured both Kendall and James speaking of a possible BTR comeback in the future. James stated that the guys keep in touch these days and even though everybody is preoccupied with his work, returning to Big Time Rush if the time is ripe has been named as a possibility between the guys. Kendall also said that she is not against the idea of concerts or a tour one day if the fans desire it. With each member on board with the idea, it may only be a matter of time before an official reunion is revealed.

Of course, the big question is when fans might expect to see Big Time Rush performing live on stage again. The majority of the speculations indicate that it is going to be a comeback concert tour in the next one to three years. In the second half of 2022, listeners were able to notice on social networks that the band was gathering secretly to start preparing something large. More evidence that a reunion is already underway was added by trademarks for possible new BTR merchandise, music, and live performances filed in fall 2022.

There is no definite information regarding the Big Time Rush tour at the moment, however, fans expect the tour to be announced soon, in 2023. It would align well with the band’s 15-2023 anniversary. Also, with each of them already actively involved in projects, 2023 would give enough time for each to finish his or her project and get down to serious preparation for the reunion. Waiting until 2024 also seems likely to give sufficient breathing room.

Regarding what a potential Big Time Rush concert tour can look like, one would likely be able to hear all the tracks from albums BTR, Elevate, and 24/Seven. For longtime Rushers, to see songs like Boyfriend, Worldwide, and Music Sounds Better With U perform on stage again would be a dream come through for them. The concerts would be entertainment concoctions of music, vitality, dance, and audience involvement just like their past performances. Since all the guys are now fathers, it is also possible to create exclusive VIP interactions with them and their children. And with South American, Asian, and European fans who are dying to see BTR perform live, the international dates would be equally logical.

This makes the idea of Big Time Rush coming back together for sold-out concerts across the globe feel even nearer due to the member encounters and teases. When Kendall, James, Carlos, and Logan return to fifth harmony, that will be one of the most significant and most exciting pop reunions of all time. The audience is eagerly awaiting the time when the Rushers’ jerseys and glow sticks will be taken out and then the BTR concert will be attended with friends by their side again. Whether the comeback is to drop over the course of the next couple of months or the next couple of years, one thing that remains for certain is that when Big Time Rush has officially announced their return to the stage the true fan euphoria shall begin.
