When Creed Concert Tour?

Popular throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, Creed was a rock band. Lead singer Scott Stapp, guitarist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall, and drummer Scott Phillips made up the 1993 Tallahassee Florida band. Scott Stapp performed additional songs like "Higher," "With Arms Wide Open," and "My Sacrifice," which highlighted the band's post-grunge approach. After finishing its Weathered Tour, Creed broke up in 2004 having recorded over 28 million records and earning a Grammy Award.

After regrouping in 2009 to record the album Full Circle, Creed toured up until 2010. The band has been touring sometimes live and at festivals since then, but after 2011 they did not start a full-scale national concert tour. Released in 2018, My Prison was the band's first album in eight years and inspired the name for their most recent tour. The record received a positive critical reaction and sparked rumors among the audience about the band maybe organizing another appropriate tour. Now 2023, there are speculations that Creed could be planning their first real concert tour in 13 years.

As of yet, no announced Creed tour for 2023. That and the band itself have hinted at wanting to return on tour this year. Leading singer of the band Scott Stapp said in an interview in March 2022 that the band has thought about touring the following year, 2023. Moreover, guitarist Mark Tremonti said in another interview that the Creed lads had intended to perform the My Prison album last year. These comments have spurred conjecture that Creed longs to play for crowds once again, even though no dates or venues have been confirmed.

All the music business experts seem to agree because they think a fresh Creed tour announcement is only to be anticipated. The band last toured at a period of declining rock touring industry. But in the last several years, consumers have once again been craving live events. Groups in the classic rock genre often announce fresh tours after past very successful ones. After seeing public enthusiasm when concerts reopened after the lockdowns, several of the bands famed for their 1980s and 1990s hits—Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Journey, and numerous others—have since started touring once again. Given that Creed is among the most popular bands of their day, should they schedule a 2023 tour, they would also probably draw enormous numbers.

Logistically, it would be most handy to indicate when Creed may schedule the performance dates—that of spring or summer of 2023. A comprehensive multiple-date arena tour may last many months. Announcing a tour in March or April would give fans time to prepare for it and at the same time provide the band ample space to practice and be ready for any intended gigs in North America this year. Assuming that the band Creed would be promoting a tour, one might suggest that the windows for such news could be during the Coachella season or right before summer when rock performers visit the amphitheaters.

Of course, Creed has also not released a new album since 2018 that was not My Prison. Maybe they will choose to put more songs out before returning to live performances. Instead of waiting for a whole project release these days, bands now go on the road before, during, or after albums. Again, the lack of any official statement from the Creed camp fuels conjecture about the tour or its lack entirely from the perspective of music writers and fans who sporadically post on message boards.

Should Creed plan a 2023 tour, where may they stage? Recent tours of bands like Pearl Jam and Red Hot Chili Peppers provide some possible proof. Any Creed road tour will most likely include numerous big cities like Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, and Chicago. Creed had great demand as they sold tickets for their performances last year and could play Madison Square Garden, United Center, State Farm Arena, and the Forum. Other frequent visitors like Boston, Detroit, Houston, and Denver all seem somewhat logical. Of course, it will stay the same; among other things, Tallahassee, Creed's hometown, most likely influences the route. Most tours nowadays span North America and sometimes Europe/UK with between 30 to 50 dates overall. The last two tours of Creed also featured a pass through Australia, hence returning down under would also be beneficial.

Ultimately, rumors abound that one of the most well-liked bands emerging from the 90s and early 2000s might be returning to the stage. Though Creed has not made any formal tour announcements, fans have many reasons to be optimistic that Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti, and the rest of the band will start a much-awaited reunion tour maybe in 2023. Still, fans instinctively go to the band for validation of such news. Still, the time seems appropriate for Creed to arrange a significant concert tour this year. On the day a new tour is scheduled, however, tickets are probably sold very rapidly as fans would not wait for another opportunity to see Creed live on stage.
