Earth, Wind & Fire have unveiled plans to go out on tour in 2023.
Next year, the venerable band Earth, Wind & Fire will tour more than thirty locations throughout North America. This tour starts in March in Miami and finishes in October in Los Angeles. Since 2019, this is the first full-scale tour the band has gone on.
Rising from Chicago, Illinois in 1969, Earth, Wind & Fire grew to be among the most popular funk and R&B bands ever. Having sold over ninety million record copies worldwide, they are among the most popular musical groups in history. September, Shine Star, Sing a Song, Let Groove, Boogie Wonderland, After the Love Has Gone, and so forth are some of this band's ever-green hits. They entered the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in addition to selling more than 50 million albums and receiving six Grammy Awards during their career.
While other long-time band members including Philip Bailey, Ralph Johnson, B. David Whitworth, Myron McKinley, John Paris, Philip Woo, Greg Moore, and Ralph Rolle will travel with the band to provide fans with the best EW&F experience, founding members Maurice White and Verdine White will not be joining the trip. This concert series will begin on the 18th of March at the FTX Arena situated in Miami. From there, the band will zigzag across the country to other large cities such as Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, New York, Atlanta, Houston, Denver, and many others, before arriving in Los Angeles on the 15 October. Every city will receive one night with the band, though weekend stands are scheduled in Chicago, New York, Las Vegas, and Oakland.
The band’s history of high-octane live shows and explosive festival appearances over the years such as Coachella, Glastonbury, and New Orleans Jazz Fest means that ticket sales should strongly be in demand. It calls on fans to buy tickets immediately once they are available to get a good sit. Floor tickets for the arena are expected to be sold out within a short period.
