When Future Concert Tour?

Fans of the Nigerian Musician, Future are always keenly waiting for the next concert tour.

Ever since artiste Future released his chart-topping album High Off Life in 2020 with songs like Life Is Good and Touch The Sky fans have been looking forward to when he would go on his next concert tour. The last major tour that Future embarked on was back in 2019 for The WIZRD Tour which was named after his album released in the same year. That arena tour saw the group perform at major venues in North America and Europe within several months.

Then when will plan his next major tour? Given his normal album and touring schedules, analysts expect the superstar rapper to tour by 2023 at the earliest. There is no official statement regarding the new album from Future or his management but based on the period of his previous albums which were released every one to two years then a new album from him should be expected by the end of this year or early next year. And where there is a new album, a tour is not far behind it.

Future has not been very active in live shows this year 2022. He performed at Rolling Loud festivals in Portugal and Southern California, as well as at nightclubs and shows, and in private. But none of these have been anywhere near the level of a full-scale headlining concert tour across arenas in the country. People are eager to have that kind of intensive Futureshow experience once again.

However, timing an arena tour also depends on the availability of slots in the headlining venues and the routing of the tour. Since big concert halls are used for sporting events and other massive concerts, they must be booked in advance. Future and his team will first assess the various possibilities of the tour routings, production possibilities, and promoters before releasing the new outing. They will want to know if the tour can reach all the major cities in the US as well as other dates in the international markets that are also beloved by Future.

It also emerged from the insiders that there are talks that Future may embark on a tour in the market either in tandem or in partnership with another established rap artist. Future has previously collaborated with Drake and the two have performed together several years ago in Summer Sixteen Tour across North America in 2016. After that, he has been performing only the solo headlining tours. However, if they both team up with a compatible superstar peer, they may be able to sell out even further afield and thus transform the tour into an even greater hip-hop event by fusing audiences. The occurrences that have been suggested include a tour with Lil Wayne or Roddy Ricch. Perhaps Young Thug could come out and perform during the show next time he gets out of jail in a couple of years. However, no information has been revealed about the specific band that Future loves to share the stage with during a tour.

Over time, with no new solo material from Future or news regarding that for an entire number of months, the die-hard fans grow restless. However, it usually takes most major tours a while to get scheduled and ‘set up’ behind the scenes, so one should expect official tour announcements from Future’s team yet. As soon as he releases another album which, given his previous streaks, could happen at any time in 2023, fans are always sure to anticipate a tour announcement.

Almost all industry forecasters expect Future will be on the road again in some capacity for the first time in four years through a major concert tour in 2023. Until then, fans eagerly wait, discuss, and analyze on social networking sites when the next chance to indulge in Future’s live performance with an electrifying concert announcement that the next stop will be in their city soon. As he remains a very popular and active musician who continues to release new music, the official announcement of the tour will always be met with enthusiasm and record ticket sales whenever he deems it appropriate to start one. For now, Future likely goes on thinking about how to brainstorm the next tour he is planning to set and how unique it would be for fans.
