Kings of Leon are getting ready for their When You See Yourself Tour set for 2023, with events set all throughout North America and Europe. After more than ten years and twenty-odd years, this Grammy-awarded alternative rock band from Nashville is much awaited by its fans for a live show once again.
On May 19, the tour starts in the United States at the Coral Sky Amphitheater in West Palm Beach, Florida. Spending much of the summer playing in large North American theaters and halls, they will then go to Europe in mid-August. The European leg ends in Manchester, England, after October 10. Up to the present, they have scheduled more than forty dates overall.
Since their WALLS World Tour in 2017, Kings of Leon have had their first complete-scale headlining tour. Although they had a few events in 2021, this is the first time they have been back on the road for a legitimate tour in some time. It has drawn great interest; most of the performances are either almost sold out or sold out entirely.

Can Kings of Leon Save the Night?
They are expected to perform songs from all seven studio albums, with new ones from When You See Yourself apart from “The Bandit. ”Considering the duration of the tour, it would not be surprising if they sneaked some of the rarely performed favorites and other tracks that the fans may expect into the setlist during different shows.
Kings of Leon charted their way to mainstream success in the 2000s with mega-hits such as “Sex on Fire” and “Use Somebody” that propelled the band to the top of the chart globally. Since then, though, they’ve gone back to the garage rock kind of sound as they did in their early days and brought back that intensity that first pushed the band to stardom when they were only beginning.
Fans can expect to hear those early punk-influenced barnburners like “Molly’s Chambers” and “Taper Jean Girl” more frequently, interspersed with the sing-along Brit-rock hits from Only By the Night that brought the band mainstream success over a decade prior. When played live, it creates quite an exciting mix of the two songs.
Another aspect that goes a notch higher during the live performances is the stage charisma of Kings of Leon’s frontman, Caleb Followill, as well as the group’s musicianship. Prepare yourself for high-pitched guitar solos, powerful bass beats, and the gruff voice of Caleb throughout the night. The lighting visuals and any pyrotechnic effects for the outside performances are also usually rather spectacular.
So you can imagine that even if they are twenty years deep into their career at this point, seeing Kings of Leon perform live is always a good time and should never be missed. If you wish to witness one of rock’s most skilled bands at work across North America and Europe in the next few months, don’t snooze when it comes to grabbing tickets to the next tour!
