Jay Chou begins his world tour in 2023
Talented Mando pop singer Jay Chou has revealed plans for a highly anticipated world tour in the coming 2023. The tour is expected to commence in early February where Jay will perform in different cities across Asia, North America, and Europe in the latter part of the year.
The news comes after his 2022 Carnival world tour where Jay performed more than 20 concerts across Asia with great reception. His coming tour is expected to be bigger with more than 30 performances scheduled.
Asia Leg
Jay will be beginning his world tour in 2023 with the Asia tour where he will be performing two shows in Taipei Arena in February. These shows are believed to feature Jay singing most of his popular songs as well as some of the songs from his current album. Since Jay is so popular in his hometown, these shows are already sold out.
Following Taipei, Jay will tour other important Chinese cities such as Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Chengdu among other cities. He is expected to give several performances in these cities as the Asia leg in February and March.
In March, Jay is also going to be on his Southeast Asian tour which includes Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Bangkok. These shows will have him entertain his large global audience before proceeding to North America.
North America Leg
In April Jay is going to start a tour across North America starting in Vancouver where he spent one semester as an exchange student in high school. He is expected to stage several performances in the Canadian cities of Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa.
Jay will then proceed to the neighboring country of the United States of America where he is rapidly gaining many fans. He is expected to perform in cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, New York, Washington, and Houston among others. It is expected that the North American phase of the tour will be complete by the end of May.
Europe Leg
Jay’s highly anticipated Europe part of the tour will commence in June with the United Kingdom as the initial destination. These are the cities he is expected to perform in London, Manchester, and Birmingham. This will be succeeded by shows in Paris, Berlin, Milan, and Madrid among other important cities in Europe.
Jay was expected to move on an international tour in Europe in the year 2020 as part of the carnival world tour but this never happened because of the outbreak of coronavirus. Therefore, European fans are very much looking forward to witnessing this talented performer on stage in 2023!
What Fans Can Expect
According to the content analysis, fans should be able to enjoy a spectacular stage setting, exotic costume display, and cheerful and energetic choreography together with Jay singing love songs accompanied by piano. His shows are very lively with the singer displaying his prowess in singing different music genres throughout the night.
Like before, Jay will be singing his many songs such as In the Name of the Father, Nunchucks, Faraway, Blue and White Porcelain, Cannot Hurt You Anymore, Common Jasmin Orange, and so on. He will also be performing songs from his new album such as Wild Child, No Way, and More Than This.

A lot of dizi, erhu, and other Chinese musical influences are expected to be featured in his performances.
There is also usually a guest artist or two that performs duets with Jay. It is also heard that his good friend – famous pianist Lang Lang – might accompany him during a song or two!
Tickets and Other Details
Tickets are already available through official ticket-selling partners in all countries. Since Jay is a well-known comedian, most of the shows have either sold out or have very few tickets available. It is also important to note that tour dates are still being adjusted and new ones are being announced so fans should stay tuned.
