When Little River Band Concert Tour?

The Little River Band is an Australian rock band formed in 1975 that has become one of the most popular Australian bands. Its all-time hits include “Reminiscing,” “Lady,” and “Cool Change.” The original members included Beeb Birtles, Graeham Goble, Roger McLachlan, Derek Pellicci, and Glenn Shorrock. They were famous for melodic rock music and soft and beautiful vocal parts.

Glenn Shorrock and Graeham Goble are the main players even though the band has undergone many roster changes over the years. The band broke up in 1982 after reaching its zenith in the latter half of the seventies. Shorrock and others reassembled another Little River Band version in 1983, nevertheless, and they have sometimes been playing performances with some new songs.

Audiences all over who come to enjoy their preferred 1970s and early 1980s music are still entertained by Little River Band. Released in 2017, "Replay" was a repackled collection of several of their popular tracks with fresh recordings. Except for Dave, who joined in 2008, all of the current Little River Band members are original; Graeham Goble, Wayne Nelson on bass and vocals, Chris Marion on keyboards and vocals, Rich Herring on lead guitar and vocals, and Ryan Ricks on drums.

But when my Little River Band announced their new dates for their big concert tour? Given the band's previous activities, one may assume that they will keep on their yearly touring in the future. According to their present calendar, they just completed a late October of the autumn 2022 tour of the Eastern United States. Early November 2022 finds the website devoid of any scheduled performances for 2023. As has been the case in the past, however, a 2023 trip is extremely likely to be off-target shortly.

Little River Band would spend most of the years performing concerts all across the United States as well as, sometimes worldwide until the COVID-19 epidemic hampered most travel activities. For example, they traveled in spring and autumn in 2018 and 2019, seeing people all throughout the nation. Among other things, their visits are known to bring them through well-known casino showrooms and performing arts venues.

Those who want to see Little River Band live at least once in 2023 will have to wait for the band to unveil fresh concert plans, which they typically announce on their official website and on their official social media accounts. As that has been the regular pattern from past years, they might start a fresh tour in February or March. Still, given the uncertainty of how far in advance one may schedule events, nothing may be out in the open for another several months at least.

Where would Little River Band go on their next tour? Still, peeking over the past recent set lists offers some hints about possible outcomes. Among various other venues, they have appeared in New York, Mississippi, Arizona, and Wisconsin in the last five years alone. Theoretically, thus, practically every state might be included. In casino-dominated states like Arizona, California, Nevada, and Florida, they do indeed show more frequency.

Regarding itinerary, the band's touring lineup may be somewhat changed. Still, vocalist Glenn Shorrock 77 years old often travels with Little River Band. Graeham Goble, a founding member, frequently travels with them as well. Original bassist and singer Wayne Nelson still does tours with LRB. Fans can therefore typically expect that those three founding members are always present at every live performance.

Of course,  by this point, concerts are attended solely by die-hard fans and thus the audience is mostly here to enjoy songs that they know such as ‘Lonesome Loser’, ‘The Night Owls’, and, ‘Take It Easy on Me’. The company has evolved through nearly 50 years of existence and many changes in people; the only link to the recording era is Graeham Goble. However, the vocals and musicianship typically retain the core elements of the Little River Band that fans are familiar with.

Normally, all the above-mentioned mega-hits of the seventies and early eighties are included in the setlist. Occasionally, a listener will get a single from an album that is not frequently played or lesser-known songs that have been released in the past few years. But worry not, both the occasional listener and the loyal LRB fan can belt out the high notes to their favorite LRB hits. For dedicated fans, it’s an opportunity to sing those tunes that are associated with childhood and youth. And new generation fans get to enjoy those legendary soft rock music live in concert.

So if anyone is in that boat thinking about when will the Little River Band tour again, tradition dictates that concerts should return in the year 2023. Veteran members remain, continuing to perform live events focused on energetic, memorable sets to yet another year of easygoing rock hits. In case official tour plans are ever made, fans can expect the band to just pass through their town next spring or summer. For now, fans interested in seeing LRB out on the road again will just have to wait for the latest news. But the good-time sounds and unforgettable harmonies will undoubtedly roll through city after city soon enough once more.
