Needtobreathe Officially Releases Their Tour Dates for the Coming Year
A concert tour of several months has been planned by Needtobreathe, which is a popular rock band that is based in the United States of America and has announced its North American tour for 2022. The tour will be entitled “Into the Mystery Tour” and it will commence in Miami Beach, Florida in June and end in October, with the band performing in cities such as Nashville, Toronto, Denver, Los Angeles, and many more in between.
The South Carolina-based band is likely to perform new songs from the latest album titled ‘Into the Mystery’ which was released mid- The album demonstrates the group’s progression with elements of heartland rock and stadium-sized choruses to be played in concerts with the audience. The album’s concept is based on the idea of mystery and embracing the unknown when transitioning into new seasons of life, as explained by the lead singer Bear Rinehart. Audiences can expect to hear these songs performed live as well as some other selections from the band's extensive repertoire in their more than ten years of existence.
It will be the band's first full-on headlining tour since COVID-19 cut short touring early last year following the release of their album “Out of Body”. The group was still able to stage some of the concerts in the latter part of the previous year but added that they are eager to go back on tour.
Drummer Joe Stillwell said the following about the announcement, “We couldn’t wait to get back out on the road after two years without touring because of COVID, and this new tour is going to be an incredible night of music for everyone. ”
The remaining members of Stillwell's live band will be Seth Bolt on bass, Randall Hills on keys, and Josh Lovelace both on keys and guitar. The band has always been very focused on the live show aspect and their goal is to make the atmosphere of each show resemble a worship service more than a concert.
It remains unknown which bands will be the opening bands of the tour, however, the most talented young bands will be performing as the warm-up acts. In the past, Needtobreathe has invited great bands such as Switchfoot, Parachute, Telemetry, and others as their opening bands for their tours.
Since the release of “The Heat”, Needtobreathe has been steadily growing their fanbase with their heartfelt brand of Americana-rock. They have had numerous chart-topping songs without much fussing over making Top 40 hits with songs like Brother, Difference Maker, Drive All Night and Hang On.
They have afforded them chances to record with other well-known artists such as Taylor Swift on which this band was featured on two songs; Eyes Open and Cassiopeia in the past year. They also have opened for many tours including with the giants such as Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, which has enhanced their credibility in the market.
