OneRepublic is a band in the pop rock genre from Colorado Springs, United States, formed in the year 2002. The band is comprised of lead vocalist Ryan Tedder, guitarists Zach Filkins and Drew Brown, cellist and bassist Brent Kutzle, drummer Eddie Fisher, and Brian Willett the keyboardist. OneRepublic started gaining popularity in 2007 with their hit single Apologize taken from the debut album Dreaming Out Loud. Since then, they have released three more successful studio albums and have gone on tour, becoming one of the most successful pop bands.
One year after publishing the fourth album Human, OneRepublic began a worldwide tour to help to promote the record. Beginning on March 20, 2021, the Human Tour took place at the Mexican Starlite Festival. Not too long thereafter, One Republic made stops at numerous points in North and South America. The tour's spring phase consisted of presentations in Monterrey, Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Toronto, New York, and Washington DC. The band sang in many locations, including theaters and big arenas; the song had strong choruses and Tedder's impassioned vocals.
The summer also provided One Republic the opportunity for a European tour. Beginning their journey at Afas Live in Amsterdam on June 4, One Republic thereafter traveled to Belgium, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and others. Along with several songs from the Human album, some of the most often sung songs among the fans include Counting Stars, Good Life, and Rescue Me. Along with other concerts throughout the trip were the infamous Isle of Wight festival in England and the Starlite Festival in Spain. The band made their first performance at the Isle of Wight, and for the Saturday night headliners, they drew a sizable crowd. The European campaign came to an end in Hungary on July 16.
By the fall, OneRepublic was willing to tour again in North America. The extensive fall leg saw them visiting several cities they had toured early in the year. Many of the shows were performed in some of the most famous venues, such as the Greek Theater in Los Angeles and the Radio City Music Hall in New York. This tour also included stops in Nashville, Houston, Dallas, Detroit, Chicago, Denver, and many others. The band OneRepublic supported REVERB, a nonprofit that aims at teaching and encouraging musicians and fans to act so that the world would be sustainable; for every ticket bought for the 2021 North American tour, OneRepublic contributed $1.
It is now 2022 and it seems that OneRepublic has not stopped making and creating new music. The Human Tour is expected to run up to the next summer which includes festivals as well as headlining shows. To date, there are concerts planned for Latin America and Europe beginning in February; the guys will be back in the United States in June. SOME OF THE UPCOMING SHOWS ARE Lollapalooza Festivals in Argentina – Chile – Brazil the following year. Another summer show is also set for the Netherlands for Pinkpop and Rock Werchter in Belgium next July. Further dates in North America and Australia have not been released but should be soon.
What amazing it was to witness an extended tour across several continents and hundreds of performances in the framework of the promotion of the band's newest studio album Human. It is worth pointing out that fans around the world have been singing and dancing at the sold-out concerts for more than a year now. And given that the Human Tour is planned to go on throughout the year 2022 and maybe even in 2023, there is still more to look forward to in OneRepublic’s concert tours. Make sure you always follow all their tours and buy tickets as soon as they come to your city. Of course, the dancing along to the popular top hits and later taking a bop to unforgettable memories that OneRepublic brings to your city as part of the Human Tour.
