When Poison Concert Tour?

Poison, the popular glam metal band responsible for songs such as “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” and “Nothing But a Good Time,” will be touring again this summer. First, the rockers appeared in the 1980s when hair metal bands were at the pinnacle of their fame. Their teased hair, spandex pants, and arena rock hits helped Poison become one of the most successful bands of the decade. While their popularity declined in the 1990s and the beginning of 2000, Poison revisited the peak of popularity in the middle and late 2000s due to the retro 80s rock trend. They have been able to sustain a fairly constant level of touring activity in the past fifteen years, performing annual summer tours most years.

The annual trip christened as ‘The Stadium Tour’ this year will be among Poison’s biggest in recent past. The multi-act bill also includes other fellow 80s rock bands Def Leppard and Motley Crue, which would make it the perfect concert for anyone who enjoys glam metal. The grueling summer trek begins on June 16 in Atlanta and will cover over 30 shows across stadiums and amphitheaters all over North America. Some of them are Wrigley Field in Chicago, Truist Park in Atlanta, and Fenway Park in Boston. The tour is set to conclude on the 9th of September with the last concert at the newly constructed home of the Las Vegas Raiders, Allegiant Stadium.

For Poison, the Stadium Tour is a successor of the previous year’s more close-knit tour across North America with Cheap Trick and Pop Evil. This is the first time Poison and Motley Crue have toured together since 2015 and the first time Poison and Def Leppard have toured together since 2012. Well, fans can undoubtedly have it their way as Poison is assured to give a hit-filled set when taking the stage each night. Poison is to play such hits as “Fallen Angel”, “Unskinny Bop”, and “Your Mama Don’t Dance” as well as other tracks that are popular among the band’s dedicated fans. One thing is certain: Bret Michaels will be singing “Nothin’ But a Good Time” and “Talk Dirty to Me” and encouraging everyone to scream and shout along with him.

The current three touring Poison members include Michaels, Rockett, and DeVille, and are excited about the Summer tour. Following the reduction of tours due to the coronavirus pandemic in 2020 and 2021, the band is ready to perform live again. During an interview, the lead singer Bret Michaels said, “We are looking forward to an amazing summer tour with all these bands. We are all very much looking forward to getting back on stage to give the fans the kind of concert they have been deprived of due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the last couple of years. ” On bass, we will have Dana Strum who has in the past been with the band.

Since The Stadium Tour is expected to be one of the most popular concerts in 2023, Poison fans should be ready to book their tickets as soon as they are released. There are several presales for Poison’s and Def Leppard’s fan club members, as well as for the holders of some credit cards. ANY remaining tickets will be available to the general public from Friday 3rd of February. Considering that people want to return to live concerts after COVID-19, and there is an immense amount of interest in 1980s music, these shows will likely sell out quickly in several cities. Fans who don’t get a chance to obtain tickets, however, should not lose heart – if the Stadium Tour goes down well, a second North American leg or additional headline dates could be scheduled for Fall/Winter 2023 or Spring 2024.

Whether Poison performs in spring, summer, autumn, or winter, and wherever it may be, fans can only expect that it will be fun. Bret Michaels explained that each night the band has high energy, big hooks, slick guitar licks, and the ability to party all night. For a few hours, the packed football stadium on The Stadium Tour will resemble the Sunset Strip in 1986. Poison is set to deliver fans a chance to once again party like it’s the eighties, the age of glitz and glamour. So get ready to rock, dance, sing, and shake your head from side to side all summer long when Poison comes to a city near you!
