Throughout music history, Santana is among the most significant and well-known rock bands. Beginning in San Francisco in the late 1960s, they were well-known for embracing the mix of Latin jazz and rock music throughout their concerts. After his amazing performance at the 1969 Woodstock Festival, Santana shot to sudden popularity. Some of the events in 2020 include giant concerts in Italy, Hungary, Poland, Switzerland, and Spain. In the year, 2021, if possible the pandemic situation would allow the band to tour various countries such as Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, France, and the United Kingdom. They also had their tapings and performances in Mexico and Colombia where they still have massive supporters.
Santana was also not idle in 2022 in terms of live performances, particularly in the later part of the year. Some of the tours were done during summer where they were active in California and Vegas before flying to the Atlantic for other shows. In the fall 2022 leg of Santana’s tour, he performed in Italy, France, Belgium, Netherlands, and the UK.
On the subject of 2023 concert schedules for Santana, there are more than 25 dates set for Europe and North America from spring to early summer. Starting in late March up to May, Santana is expected to perform concerts in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy as well as Belgium. This run also includes what is likely to be a spectacular performance in the historic Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam on the 5th of April.
Santana returns to the United States in mid-April 2023 with plans for a busy summer festival season that will include the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and the Memphis Beale Street Music Festival. The other dates on the planned spring tour in the United States include shows in North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, and Texas. To the current date, the 2023 Santana concert tour is planned to end on 4th June in Michigan.
Since Santana has been a constant force in the live concert scene over the last two decades, it is quite probable that more dates in both the US and other parts of the world will be added as the year progresses. Santana the musician is a seventy-five-year-old man who, during one of his interviews, expressed a desire to continue performing for many years to come. The fans can hope for the fact that Santana has more thrilling concert tours in his artistic future. Featuring an unmistakable guitar sound and a diverse blend of styles, Santana’s concerts are dynamic and electrifying celebrations of more than half a century of music.
