When Scotty Mccreery Concert Tour?

Country artist Scotty McCreery to embark on the new tour

American country music singer Scotty McCreery has come out to reveal his concert tour calendar for the year 2023. The tour is in promotion of his latest album “Same Truck” which was released in September 2022.

The Tour and What You Should Expect

Titled the “Same Truck Tour”, McCreery is set to perform across multiple cities within the United States in the period from January to May 2023. All in all, he has about 40 confirmed events or concerts by now. Still, more dates are likely to be brought to the table in the following months.

The tour starts on January 19 in Cincinnati, Ohio and the band will also be performing in other Midwestern cities such as Grand Rapids, Moline, and Green Bay. He later goes to the warmer regions of the United States like Houston Texas, New Orleans Louisiana, Jacksonville Florida, and Savannah Georgia in February.

March sees McCreery travel along the East Coast and his tour includes Richmond Virginia, New York City, Boston Massachusetts, Portland Maine, and Mashantucket Connecticut among others. He also does several shows in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia which is his birth and growing-up state.

The country star then moves to the west for performances in Seattle Washington, Portland, Oregon, Fresno California, and Tucson, Arizona in April. Las Vegas, NV, and Denver, CO are also included in the list. The final stretch of McCreery’s tour is in May, with shows in Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas to end the tour at Birmingham, Alabama on 13th May.

Fans during the tour should expect to have his latest album “Same Truck” played at every stop with other singles including It Matters To Her, Small Town Girl, and the title itself Same Truck. He’ll also perform some of the songs which his fans would be familiar with from previous albums such as ‘Five More Minutes’, ‘This is It’, ‘Feelin' It’ and ‘In Between’.

Of course, his first single and one of his biggest hits ‘I Love You This Big’, through which Phillip Phillips won the American Idol competition in 2011, will definitely be on the list of songs to be performed. Other covers and new material can be expected as well at the shows.

Tickets & VIP Packages

Most of the dates for Scotty McCreery’s “Same Truck Tour” have ticket presales starting Friday, November 11 through Ticketmaster. Special pre-sales for fan club members and Spotify also happen earlier.

Apart from normal admission, VIP tickets will be available which will offer front-row seating and a pre-show acoustic show and question and answer session with McCreery. There will also be merch shopping before it happens and a VIP laminate pass to celebrate.

However, the VIP treatment is not cheap, which starts at $125 and can go as high as $300 per booking, depending on the city. It is standard practice to require $35 for normal seating areas when it comes to ticket prices. Extra charges and taxes are also included.

Since McCreery is a favorite, lots of the dates are likely to attract large sales once tickets are thrown to the market for sale. This must be done early enough as this gives a first look at the best available fans.

What Critics Are Saying

In general the single “Same Truck” has been critically acclaimed with many praising the maturation of McCreery from his early days as a master of young adult country music. The album represents real-life stories transformed into the modern, contemporary country music style.

This is evident through catchy melodies and showcased songwriting in songs such as “It Matters to Her” and “Home,” which have been pointed out by the reviewers. McCreery’s strong voice with his emotional way of singing the lyrics has also been reviewed time and again.

In general, critics believe that during the upcoming tour, the singer will make powerful and passionate performances as well as present new songs. The audience can expect to be treated to some great storytelling through songs on stage as evident on the studio album.

That’s true since McCreery has performed more than 200 shows so far, and he is familiar with touring too. Besides, he has performed seven headline tours already even though he is only 29 years old which proves his dedication and passion for performing live.

Why Fans Are Excited

Apart from his singing ability, McCreery also has a cool and humble disposition that is easily relatable by the fans. He then spends a considerable amount of time before and after his performances mingling with fans which creates a loyal fan base that is always eager for the next show.

People also believe that they have been following him since he was a high school student, participating in American Idol. McCreery argues that despite being famous he is still that North Carolina boy, and this adds credibility.

However, he has been growing from a talented teenager into a self-assured performer and musician, as well as a young and talented songwriter entering the rather saturated field of the country genre.

The tour is a reflection of how far Scotty has come in the past decade in becoming a headlining arena act with an appeal to everyone and not just country lovers. It has been an amazing transformation, from the man who started as a reality show participant to a bona fide celebrity.

Of course beyond all that, McCreery simply creates fun happy songs that people want to party to and sing along to. A combination of energetic songs with slow-tempo love songs provides variety in the concert that will be appreciated by all.

Setlist Expectations

It will, however, be a mystery until show time in that the final set list will have some variation, but there are some songs that Scotty McCreery has been consistently performing throughout the years. These should provide an idea of what to expect: These should provide an idea of what to expect:

"Five More Minutes" "This Is It" "In Between" "Carolina to Me" "Southern Belle" "Feel Good Summer Song" "Barefoot In"' "You Time" "It Matters To Her" "Small Town Girl" "Same Truck" "The Trouble With Girls" Its title is “I Love You This Big. ” "The Dash"
