When Thirty Seconds To Mars Concert Tour?

Thirty Seconds To Mars is an American rock band originating from Los Angeles, California, United States that was formed in 1998. The band is formed by Jared Leto (vocals, guitar, bass, and keyboards) and Shannon Leto (drums and percussion). Throughout its career, the band went through several changes in the lineup, and only with the release of the second album A Beautiful Lie (2005) the band become popular and commercial. The next album, This Is War (2009), demonstrated a significant transformation in the band’s sound.

Thirty Seconds To Mars has not toured since 2018, having been promoting the album America throughout this year. Over sixty gigs in North America and Europe, the Monolith Tour ran from June 6, 2018, to December 13, 2018. Among the high moments were two nights each at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, performances at the Austin City Limits Festival, and attendance at their first stadium concert at Wembley Arena in London.

Both reviewers and fans gave the tour great comments. With the backing of improved lighting, video, and even a fire show in addition to the band's raw passion, their stage performance was said to be the greatest and most complex ever. Every engagement included live sets tailored to the area representing the band's 20-year legacy including "The Kill, "Walk on Water, and "Closer to the Edge."

When, then, would Thirty Seconds To Mars start yet another journey? Unfortunately enough, the band has not disclosed any details about the next shows. The Monolith Tour was over, and then they took a long hiatus. Headman Jared Leto said in an interview in June 2021 that the band could start working on fresh songs in 2022.

Thirty Seconds To Mars has historically published an album cycle accompanied by a concert tour every three to four years. This chronology allows one to do a fresh world tour in 2023 or 2024. Still, this is just hypothetical. Several important elements might affect their choice to go once more:

The finalization of a new album

As with many bands, Thirty Seconds To Mars’s usual method of touring involves promoting albums. One would assume if they do indeed record their speculated sixth studio album in 2022 or 2023 a tour will soon ensue. New music would provide them with an incentive to tour again and perform songs that have never been heard by the fans.

Festival Bookings

Some of the most popular festivals in the recent past where this band has performed include Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, and Rock in Rio. As for the concerts, the band could find other opportunities to perform between the festival dates as a way to slowly return to the road even if there was no album for them to promote.

Jared Leto's Availability

Jared Leto, apart from being a talented musician, has recently won an Academy Award for best supporting actor/actress and is getting more and more occupied with acting and directing work as time goes on. It may also explain Thirty Seconds To Mars’s potential to schedule a long international tour since his film projects may limit the band’s schedule flexibility. It therefore appears more reasonable to consider a partial tour or several shows run.

Demand from Fans

Because of a loyal fan base known as “The Echelon,” always there is a high demand to see Thirty Seconds To Mars perform live. As soon as they can get back to normal business after the pandemic, drive-in concerts arena shows, and festivals have every reason to come knocking on his door even without new material. However, the band might not schedule months on the road immediately due to considerations of other activities before choosing to go for the tours.

All in all, there is no date likely as to when they will start their next tour yet, but given how Thirty Seconds To Mars is a highly explosive live band it is expected that it could only be a matter of time before they come back with an even more elaborate, even longer stadium tour than what they have done with this marathon series. As the lead singer Jared Leto stated before the Monolith Tour, “We want to perform the show that we want to watch. ” This spirit, undoubtedly, will remain as the motivation for the kings of rock spectacle worldwide while performing on the tour, much to the delight of fans across the world.
