When Vance Joy Concert Tour?

Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy has announced his North American tour dates for this year.

Australian singer-songwriter Vance Joy has unveiled a string of North American shows in support of his latest album, In Our Own Sweet Time. It will commence on May 25th in San Diego and proceed to large cities in the United States and Canada, culminating on August 12th in Kansas City.

Vance Joy has revealed overall 23 North American events scheduled in May, June, July, and August of 2023. Among the presentations are two evenings at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Radio City Music Hall in New York City, and the venerable Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on June 21. She will also participate at the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago final week of July and the Governor's Ball Music Festival in New York in the middle of June.

Vance Joy will be performing in North America for the first time since 2019. Both of his previous North American tours supporting his 2018 album Nation Of Two were sold out in their whole, suggesting that listeners want to see the folk-pop singer behind songs like Riptide and Mess Is Mine live once again.

Having started his career in 2013, he has developed consistently to rank among the top Australian musicians of his generation. Released in 2013, God Loves You When You're Dancing included the breakout track "Riptide," which has been certified seven times platinum in Australia and peaked on the Hot 100 in the US. The audience all across the globe could relate to the beautiful melody of the song including the ukulele and the gentle voice of Joy.

After that, he put out Dream Your Life Away, his second studio album, in 2014; it again performed well in Australia and produced additional top-charting singles like "Mess Is Mine." Released in 2018, his third studio album Nation of Two likewise peaked at number one in Australia. Now with their new album In Our Own Sweet Time Out, Vance Joy will aim to match his streaming success in concert attendance on his upcoming tour across the US.

Vance Joy is also adopting a more pop-dance approach in terms of music on the track selection of In Our Own Sweet Time, however he still keeps his sensitive and honest lyrics. A few songs seem perfect for the next stadium anthem, ready for the public to belt along to during concerts. First, listening reveals certain tunes that grab the listener's attention: "Clarity," "Missing Piece," and the band's breakthrough hit "Best That I Can."

Of course, the singer will also perform "Riptide" and other Vance Joy songs during his gigs. Although he may be showcasing songs from Sweet Time on his upcoming tour, he satisfies the expectations of the crowd with relaxed, laid-back performances of his upbeat, feel-good songs from the early 2000s to packed and ecstatic audiences. When the first strums of the ukulele of "Riptide" sound, you may even find people sobbing tears of delight!

Apart from writing great indie folk-pop songs, Vance Joy is one heck of a road trip aficionado in his free time. For as long as six to seven months at times, his trips span continents, covering Australia, North America, the UK, and Europe. Still, the voyage seems to disturb him not much. Being a tall guy who is often on stage, delighting in performance seems like a happy-go-lucky, energetic bundle of energy that emits while singing.

During his free time, he passionately explores the cities he visits, valuing their natural beauty as required. His seclusion and the most intense ideas in his songs might be derived from the time he spends alone exploring different locations. See Vance longingly gazing at the Icelandic glaciers or dreamingly into the German woodlands on his Instagram page.

Along with Vance Joy on his North American tour, The Foxies, a Nashville-based rock band, and 19-year-old Filipino-Australian singer-songwriter Lola will be participating in the opening bands. These next stars could complement Vance Joy's headline acts rather well. Though they are somewhat distinct from each other, the powerful bluesy rock sounds of the Foxies complement Lola's RnB pop.

Through ticketing systems like Ticket Master and ticketing offices of the locations where Vance Joy's North American tour dates are scheduled to take place, tickets for the general public are available beginning this Friday, December 15. Though the pricing varies depending on the market, basketball shoes typically cost between fifty and sixty US dollars on average. Tickets should go fast once they go on sale to the public next week as Vance Joy has been a regular traveling artist and these are his first performances in North America in over four years.

Thus, do not let your chance to witness the well-known Australian indie-folk artist play in a place of your choosing pass you by!
