Wade Bowen Reveals Plans for 2023 Concert Tour
As mentioned above, Texas country music artist Wade Bowen has revealed details of a massive concert tour in 2023. The tour is expected to begin in January when Wade and his band will be performing shows in the United States up to the end of the year. In total, 90 dates have been announced initially.
Wade is popular for his influences in country, Americana, and red dirt music. His albums, such as ‘If We Ever Make It Home,’ and ‘Solid Ground’ are now considered as the mainstays of the Texas/Red Dirt country music. And as for concerts, a person gets a lot of enthusiasm for singing live to their favorite hits.
The tour is in preparation for a fresh album that Wade intends to launch in early 2023. The other details about the album such as its title, its release date, its singles, and so on remain scarce at the moment. However, one may hope that some of the compositions can be performed during concerts as part of a setlist.
The tour starts on January 12 with a performance in Houston, Texas. From there, Wade will tour different venues across Texas in January and February. Some of the earliest stops include San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, Lubbock, Corpus Christi, and many others. The final Texas show takes place in Helotes on February 24 and 25, completing the Texas tour leg.
In March, things extend further south in the United States. These are planned in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Tennessee among others. Wade is lined up to perform at famous venues such as the House of Blues in New Orleans, the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, and the Tabernacle in Atlanta.
April increases the routing towards the Midwest. They perform in Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana and many more. From here, May returns to take Wade back out west with performances in New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana.
However, Wade is likely to attend more festivals during the summer months. I am expecting to perform at festivals such as Lone Star Jam in or near Dallas, Windy City Smokeout near Chicago, and Seven Peaks Festival in Buena Vista, Colorado. But he will perform in other regular shows and carnivals as well during the summer.
During the autumn months, Wade moves towards the east coast and northeastern parts of the United States. It already has shows set for Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and Maryland. Haven’t toured a lot along the East Coast before so the fans there will get a great opportunity to enjoy Wade live.
The final two months of 2023 find Wade traveling once again through the Midwest and South. To sum up the year he plans to perform in Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas. The final day that has been planned is December 15th in Springdale, Arkansas.
Of course, more dates are likely to be added over time too as the tour progresses. However, this first routing demonstrates Wade’s intent to deliver his music to country fans across the represented map in 2023. He has cranked up heavy national traveling in the last few years and that is expected to continue next year.
Based on the fact that Wade is widely regarded as a live performer, and the ability to showcase new songs, ticket sales are expected to be high. The fans are advised to visit Wade’s website or his social media accounts to look out for presale seating options to book for the show. Additional specialized VIP upgrades may also be offered in some markets.
Apart from the headlining shows, one can probably also assume the festival shows, radio programs, and other events will also be part of Wade’s 2023 agenda. However, the coast-to-coast concert tour is a significant project that shall enable numerous fans to revel in Wade’s performance.
The 90+ dates already on the books show that Wade is on the ascendance as a star not just in the country realm, but in America too. He has grown from the Texas bars/venues that initially gave him a platform to perform and build his fan base. He is now a recognized comedian who can perform in larger rooms and control crowds of people at festivals all over the country.
Thus, for the lovers of Wade’s music, which is quite specific and characterized by the high energy of the performances, 2023 seems to be quite promising. It starts in Texas in January, spreads to both coasts and all places in between, and ends in December. Don’t forget to book your tickets in advance as the Wade Bowen tour passes through a city near you!
